About Us

Xmente Swimming Pool Retail Academy (XSPRA) was founded in 2011 by former BioLab executives Larry Bloom, Tresa Kenny, and Steve Carlyle, along with Internet software and media product marketer Adam Bloom. This new venture, a business unit of Atlanta-based media and software company Xmente, intends to address some of the business challenges faced by specialty pool retailers.

The academy provides research, consulting, education and productivity tools. Its initial product, "How Pools Operate," is a brain-science-based, cost-effective, user-paced online training course to help all employees learn how to consistently “speak pool” to consumers.
